Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Cecil, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Wonderful people and great food! Nice home cooked Korean meal. I ordered more than what the pictures show. No complaints and worth the 30 minute drive (hour round trip) to try them! Definitely will be back ๐ซฐ๐พ

Last time I had japchae at this level was in NYC, such a killer dish here. The kimchi and pork fried rice was full of flavor and presented beautifully. Even the fried potatoes with the house chili crisp was delicious. Every aspect of Golden Pig is just so freaking good. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere, too. Will be returning often!

This place is really awesome, itโs very small, and you can tell they prepare their food like itโs their home. Itโs absolutely amazing. We started with the Mandu and a KimBop rice roll with beef. The mandu was more of a flaky pastry outside rather than the typical dumpling outside youโre used to. It was absolutely stuffed full of the filings and veggies and it was delicious. Clare loved the kimchi as well! The kimbop which wound up being the star for us was so good. It was fresh, the veggies were crisp, the egg was rich, and the beef was tender. The home made chili oil was ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ and absolutely a must try. We wound up ordering 2 of them once we ate the first one we needed more. I got the spicy pork Bulgolgi and it was the perfect mix of heat and flavor. I rarely clean a plate and I couldnโt stop myself on this one. It was so so so good! Clare got the bulgolgi and we both really enjoyed the style, the veggies, and how it came together rather than a more typical bulgolgi. It was top tier. This place is endearing, itโs a showcase of just some home cooked traditional Korean dishes made from the kitchen like youโre eating it at their home. Itโs truly incredible and if youโre in the are

Close to where my clinical is this term, and I always wanted to try it. I'm so glad I did! The mandu and ramen were comforting and snuggly. The marinated beef came with rice and a spicy slaw that was wonderful. Such a hidden gem ๐ thank you

The kind owners, the special history behind Golden Pigโs origin, and the food are all 10/10! We were warmly greeted as soon as we stepped into the most homey restaurant Iโve ever been toโit felt like walking into a friendโs home. Everything was delicious, but my personal favorites were the kimchi, man-du dumplings, and my jap chae noodles! The meats and veggies were cooked to perfection and their sauces were all incredible. No matter the distance you are from Golden Pig, trust me when I say it is worth the visit. One time and weโre hookedโI cannot wait to come back!
